Code of Conduct

The Chicago Research Summit is an online conference that provides a respectful and inclusive space for all participants no matter their gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, or religion.

  • All participants, including speakers, are expected to conduct themselves with integrity and respect towards others.

  • Harassment defined as unwelcome conduct towards another person or persons that might reasonably be perceived as offensive or humiliating will not be tolerated.

  • Everyone will be asked to maintain a neutral or undistracting background; virtually or otherwise.

  • Participants will be asked to stay muted unless explicitly requested otherwise.

  • Questions should be asked via the Zoom chat and will be asked at the moderator’s discretion as time permits.

  • With the presenter's permission sessions, including the question-and-answer time, will be recorded.

The organizers of the Chicago Research Summit reserve the right to take necessary action in the event of any breach of the Code of Conduct. This includes the reporting and removal of individuals from any of the online conferences or sessions. In case of a breach, please contact the session moderator or email chicagoresearchsummit@gmail.com.
